The Northern Ireland Motor Club is pleased to announce that the Ulster Rally has been included in the draft calendar for the revamped 2016 MSA British Rally Championship.

The Todds Leap Ulster Rally has long been associated with the high profile series and was the recipient of the ‘Best Event Award’ in the British Rally Championship in 2009, 2011, 2012 & 2013

The Championship organisers, International Motor Sports (IMS),  confirmed earlier in the year that when the series returns to action next year it will feature 4-wheel drive machinery in its leading classes, supported by a strong 2-wheel drive class structure for career-minded drivers.

The news couldn’t have come at a better time as the entry list for the 2015 Todds Leap Ulster Rally is scheduled to open on 3rd July.

Commenting on the announcement, Ulster Rally Clerk of the Course Gary Milligan said;

“We are very proud and are keen to continue our long association with the BRC so it’s great to get the confirmation that the Ulster Rally has been included in the draft 2016 MSA British Rally Championship calendar. This provides encouragement to all the volunteers who come together to make the event such a success. With the entry list about to open it’s also a great opportunity for competitors who are planning to take part in the 2016 BRC to come across and sample the ‘Ulster’ stages.”
