Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic Rally
Championship
Press release: Wednesday, 7 April 2010
BHRC TV coverage starts on Motors TV
The opening round of the Dunlop/WONAGO.com MSA British Historic
Rally Championship, the Bulldog Historic Rally, will first be
screened on Motors TV at 9.15pm on Saturday 17 April. The BHRC
report will be the programme immediately ahead of coverage of the
WRC Rally of Turkey.
As well as the initial prime-time slot on Motors TV, each programme
will have several repeats in the week after the initial
transmission. Importantly, coverage of the opening two rallies will
be broadcast within three weeks of the event. On the Bulldog, there
were six cameras out capturing all the action form the 80-strong
BHRC field. Alastair Miller of AMTV is supplying first class
on-board footage for the BHRC in 2010.
All eight rounds of the BHRC will be televised this year, with
dedicated hour-long programmes on Motors TV supported by ‘My Life
Story’. Acceleration Television and Video, the company headed by
David Winstanley, will exclusively film all eight rallies and
produce television programmes and DVDs. Tailored DVDs based around
individual competitors are also available.
For those who want a permanent record of the event, Acceleration
will be offering 75-minute DVDs of each round of the BHRC, covering
all the cars. The DVDs will be priced at £25 and will be available
at signing on for the following event as well as direct via
