Friday 15 Aug 16:25hrs... A fatal incident involving a competitor has occurred on Special Stage 3 of the Ulster Rally. No other parties were involved. A further statement will be issued at 5.30pm. ENDS
Friday 15 Aug 17:30hrs..... The Northern Ireland Motor Club extends its sympathy to the family and friends of the competitor who was fatally injured during a tragic accident in today’s Ulster Rally. The remainder of today’s (Friday) Special Stages have been cancelled. A further statement will be issued later. ENDS
